:my big, fat laces:

black. it’s always the right color. even in spring/summer. but if you’re going to wear black all of the time (like i am wont to do) you might consider some interesting elements. while i love the bell sleeves and off-the-shoulder pieces that seem to be everywhere right now, i’m usually more attracted to clothes with just a hint of edge to them. these big, fat laces on an otherwise simple black dress caught my eye. 

i’m so anti-major jewelry at the moment (i’m just not in the mood these days). the laces sub in nicely as a simple statement.
