:summer of tank tops:

cj declared 2017 the Summer of Tank Tops. this (oh so comfortable) tank dress is one of my attempts to heed the call. don’t tell anyone it’s more like wearing pajamas instead of a dress. 

oh, also? i need to get over myself. i completely resisted the idea of Birkenstocks when they started making a comeback in 2013. i was a sad little puppy in high school because I didn’t have a pair. this was my chance to relive a moment in my life and get exactly what I want. but noooooo. i pretended like i was too “cool” for birkenstocks. if there’s anything i know for sure, it’s that the word cool doesn’t tend to be included in the list of adjectives that describe me. so here i am with my first pair of birkenstocks. the shoe i was desperate for when i was 14-17 years old.
