despite what some people will try to tell you, stripes and a bold lip do not transform you into a french girl. being french, just like being a new yorker or a pittsburgher, is about your attitude and the way you approach the world.

so, here i am, dressed like a pittsburgh girl. ready to befriend the person sitting next to me at the bar, to talk about warhol, keaton and clemente in the same sentence, to embrace our history and our future all at once.

being a pittsburgher is effortlessly cool. it’s chic. it’s badass. because here, you can be anything you want and know that you fit right in.
