Posting Because I Can

When I first started blogging almost 11 (!!) years ago, I would tuck my massive camera in my bag and haul it with me on the bus to work every single day. And every day I would set up my camera in some alleyway near my office or Market Square or wherever I could find a ledge at a decent height and I would take self-portraits with my remote so that I could put up a new outfit post. It was a lot! After several years, I had a baby and was making professional moves and my blog just did not fit my life anymore. So I took a break.

When I reemerged with this iteration of Terra’s Blog, I made a pledge to myself that I would only post when I felt compelled. I did not want to get burned out. Sometimes that meant posting a couple of times in one week, sometimes it wouldn’t be for months. “This space is mine,” I declared, “and I will use it as I see fit.”

Nothing has really changed. But it sure has been a while since I snapped a few shots of my outfit and put my thoughts down just for the heck of it. I felt so great in this whole ensemble today and the light was ok in my office so I decided to take a page from byjuliesharp’s playbook and embrace my motivation. A third post in just four short days. How about them apples?
