What To Wear When It’s Not Quite Fall, Not Quite Summer
The calendar has flipped to September, which means pumpkin spice has begun wafting in the air and citizens are dusting off their decorative gourds to casually tumble down their front stairs. It’s fall, right?
Not quite.
We’re transitioning into the kinds of hot, hot days that are truncated by chill once the sun retires behind the horizon. As this is my 42nd passage from summer to fall, let me impart one nugget of wisdom - blazers and shorts are the combination you need right now.
This is like telling someone that pairing wine with cheese is delicious. Once you’ve tried it, the combo is obvious. But for anyone out there who has not thrown a blazer over a pair of cutoffs, this is the moment you can point to and say, I was Love Nothing More’s post old when I learned this was a great transitional outfit for fall.
