Community Choice

This weekend was unbelievable. I’ll do a full debrief in a separate post but it involved a pretty gnarly week at work followed up by a surprise visit orchestrated by one of my greatest friends and my husband. I was running on fumes and then with a double-hand wave from a car pulling into my driveway, my tank was once again full. I feel like I can breath easy again.

Now, on to the fun fashion stuff!

I have been on the hunt for a pair of snakeskin knee-high boots for a bit now. I’m obsessed with the Park Texas pair but I’m still not a “randomly spend $800 on shoes” kind of gal. So I started sniffing around other brands to find something similar when I stumbled upon these Dolce Vita stunners in my Instagram feed. It became an immediate purchase because I’m a weak person and I totally indulge in my impulses sometimes. These arrived on my doorstep this weekend so of course I had to style them right away. We had to keep things casual office appropriate here since I plan to wear one of these ensembles later in the week, but honestly my favorite styling was the one I put together with a cream sweater dress on my Insta stories. We’ll reserve that one for a brunch or a random night out. :)
