Dress Up for NYE
Is there a better time of year to get souped up than New Year’s Eve? Think about it… besides the weather not cooperating for those of us in the colder climate, New Year’s Eve is the apex of so many emotions and perspectives. What was and what will be. Accomplishments and possibilities. Reflection and projection. For whatever reason, humans in the West have chosen New Year’s Eve as a significant marker. And I for one am all for playing right into that obscurity. Since almost all of us do it, I thought I would serve up some absolutely stunning garments from Luna for a variety of hostesses.
The Influencer
She’s kind of hosting the party for the IG content and we’re kind of okay with it because we’ll probably get a really good profile pic out of it.
2. The Procrastinator
She has no idea what she’s going to wear. Which shoes go with this dress? Is this THE dress? “Just put something on and LET’S GO,” her SO says. The blue velvet will do.
3. The Party Girl
She’s going in hard, per usual. She’ll have a wicked hangover tomorrow. But she’s all about sliding into the new year with sparks flying up behind her.
4. The Cultural Trust Member
She’s classy. She’s probably going to a really enriching show.
She’s definitely not friends with The Party Girl.
5. The Best Laid Plans
She totally meant to go out. But her kid coughed a little or her dog pulled his ear muscle or she thinks she ate E. coli. Whatever it is, she’s all dressed up with nowhere to go but her couch.
