:The Top Five Beauty Products:
(According to the LNM Community)
74% Say Mascara is one of the three Beauty Products they need
A few weeks ago, I asked you all what three beauty products you needed to feel put together. I was really curious what you would say, and wondered how my top three would compare to everyone else’s. As the responses were coming in, I noticed a lot of people mentioned mascara. It felt like nearly everyone. So I knew I needed to get out the spreadsheet and start running some numbers.
While it wasn’t nearly everyone, it was still a huge number of you. 53 out of 72, or 74% of respondents to the poll, mentioned mascara in their top three. I had to laugh a little because mascara is also in my top three must-have beauty products.
Your top five breaks down like this:
Mascara (53 total responses; 38.4% of the top)
Lip Stick | Tint | Gloss (29 of total responses; 21% of the top)
Brow Filler | Pencil | Pomade (25 of total responses; 18.1% of the top)
Concealer | Under Eye Concealer (20 of total responses; 14.5% of the top)
Moisturizer (11 out of total responses; 8% of the top)
Some of the most interesting one-offs included
clean hair, a bra, an eyelash curler, Rogaine and a fresh haircut.
So, what’s Your Favorite mascara?
With so many of you naming mascara as one of your top products, the next logical question was, what is the best mascara? This is where things went wild. There was no clear winner here. Many of the top five mascara picks had nearly as many votes in the worst category. I guess that just means it’s worth trying out a few things until you find something you love!
Here is your top five:
We had an enthusiastic vote for Essence, a $4 option! And the mascara you hate the most is the classic Maybelline Great Lash.
How do I stack up?
My top three beauty picks are mascara (heyyyyy), an eyebrow pencil and rosebud salve for my lips and hands. Unless I’m breaking out and then I’ll swap that salve for concealer.
I’ve been using Diorshow for my mascara and I gotta tell ya, I haven’t been loving it. So I’m pumped to have so many other options to try. I think my next stop is going to be
Benefit They’re Real. It just sounds like it’s right up my alley.
So stay tuned! I’m sure I’ll have something to say about it. ;)
