yesterday morning i cut about 2 inches off of these jeans from what you see here. (i mean, look at them on the model.) with a raw hem, it was just a matter of measuring all around from the bottom and chopping. with that little edit, these jeans have gone from good to great. 

i wanted a pair of jeans that didn’t have holes but did have a little personality. the stripes and the step hem give these just enough kick for my liking. there’s also plenty of room in the fit for a reasonable amount of debauchery. add it all up and that’s a new favorite pair of jeans. 

they’re high-waisted, which had cj asking what my 1996 self would say about them. she’d hate them. but she and her pals 2002-2003 made a lot of questionable choices so i don’t really care what she thinks.
